Humanity Rising is bringing you a special opportunity to explore filmmaking, storytelling, and mental health through our partner, Voices With Impact (VWI)! 🎞️ Through this opportunity, high school students can participate in the Voices With Impact Grant Q&A Series, a four-part series designed to take you behind the scenes of developing a strong film proposal, from shaping your first idea to creating a budget and learning directly from filmmakers. 🎥 THE 4-PART SERIES 📝 Week 1: Proposal Overview Learn how to build a film proposal from top to bottom and create a strong foundation for your ideas. 💡Week 2: Your Film Idea Learn how to shape your story, explore what you want to say about mental health, and communicate why you’re the right person to tell it. 💰Week 3: Budgets & Schedules Learn how filmmakers create realistic budgets and timelines that funders can trust. 🎬 Week 4: Best Practice: Animation, Documentary & Drama Hear directly from filmmakers about how they create their films, what the process really looks like, and common challenges to avoid. 🏫 Can’t Attend Live Because You’re in School?
